Here’s what you should know:

1 cup portobello mushrooms, sliced
1 cup oyster mushrooms, boiling
1 cup of sliced shiitake mushroom slices
1½ teaspoons chopped garlic
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon salt
1½ teaspoons liquid smoke
¼ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup tomato paste
½ cup chopped onion
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¾ cup water
½ cup bourbon
You will need 4-6 vegan slider buns for each portion.
This serves 4-6 slices of the vegan cheese you choose.

Here’s what to do

  1. Add mushrooms, garlic, black pepper, salt liquid smoking, salt tomato paste brown sugar, onion cayenne and water to an Instant Pot. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Stir until combined. Cook at high pressure for thirty minutes. Allow to cool, and then manually release the pressure.
  2. Sliders can be assembled by topping bottom slider breads in cheese slices or with top buns.
